Baseball

Baseball season is just about over for this year..............THANK GOODNESS

Ebola

Ebola.  Scary stuff.  Are we sure we understand all we should?

If you choose to go to the epicenter of the outbreak,  do not travel to some other country until it is clear, through quarantine, that you are not risking the lives of others.

Kudos for being one of those that wants to help.  DO NOT put others at risk.  Stop whining that you cannot afford time in isolation to protect others.

political candidate?

A mid-term election is upon us.  I am so happy!  I have missed the back-biting and he said/ she said rhetoric that is American Politics.  Yet again, if you listen to campaign ads,  there are no good people on the ballots.  What a sad state of affairs.

The most important topic still seems to be what party candidates are affiliated with.  Never mind that the world is in turmoil at every corner of the globe.  Religious fanatics with weapons,  health epidemics, a growing "cold-war", to mention a few.  There does not seem to be a serious effort to deal with so many issues because we are a two party system that is more concerned with "getting our way" than actually working out plans to cope with real issues at hand.

As each election time rolls around,  I become more disillusioned with our governmental system.  The system needs significant overhauling.  That will undoubtedly take a great deal of effort,  or a revolution by the public like those we have seen on TV.  While revolution would be fun,  I prefer that serious candidates emerge to champion such a cause.

Lets hope that before the next election rolls around that several good candidates materialize......so I don't have to enter politics!

Communicate

There has been a significant amount of turmoil in my family lately.  There have been hurt feelings, anger and loss of contact.  As is true with most conflict,  emotion has been the ruling factor and there has been a significant amount of incorrect information or simply a complete breakdown in contact.

I have stated many times how important family can and should be.  I have not said that maintaining relationships is always easy.  But the largest hurdle to overcome is a lack of open and honest communication.  That appears to be true in this episode of  family feud.

While these struggles can be difficult to work through,  they can be worked out and will generally make all involved stronger and better able to deal with the next version.

Take the time to communicate.

Reunion

Attended my 45th High School Class reunion this summer.  Holy crap...... my classmates all got old!

Still, it was and always is, good to see them all. We had food and conversation and were all home and presumably in bed by 10 oclock!

Nothing like a walk down memory lane with old friends.

Idiots....there every where

There is trouble (fighting etc..)  all over the Middle East.  Ebola is expanding is Africa.   What the heck is going on?  News agencies have been having a field day.  A never ending supply of material.  We ( American President)  have been taking a lot of guff for not having a plan to deal with a lot of it.  Criticism about the lack of handling a group of militant "terrorists"  going by the name Isis has been especially harsh.  I wouldn't begin to defend Mr. Obama's lack of real action,  after all his track record is poor.  What He, and most politicians,  are good at is talking.  It appears that most politicians agree that Isis behavior is bad.  (No kidding)  We have been randomly blowing up some of their stuff.  Again,  we are half-assing a solution.  It would take about a day and a half to bomb Isis into a bad memory.  Their behavior seems to warrant a good ass kicking.

It seems that middle eastern countries that we have recently been involved with are at it again.  We have apparently wasted considerable resources attempting to affect change.  I submit, still, that they are not interested in our ideoligy.  Why do we continue to allow these small wasteland countries to drag us into conflict that is more a way of life to them than a real problem begging solution?

Ebola.......scary stuff.  Underdeveloped countries are very suceptable to any health issue.  They have no resources to control any outbreak, nor do they have the mentality to avoid spreading dangerous disease.  As harsh as it may sound,  I am not affected by the problems in these underdeveloped countries,  so I care very little.

We are still posturing with Russia (or whatever they are called these days) over their interest in the Ukrane.  Putin seems to be aggressive and desiring the takeover of the Ukrane.  I don't care much.  I am not sure why his actions are so much different than our recent actions in other parts of the world.
If all the turmoil in other parts of the world have a direct effect on me, I am unaware. From my perspective most of it makes little sense.

Speaking of little sense...............................People of Ferguson,  how stupid are you?  Burn down and steal from your own neighborhood! You weren't protesting a thing.  You were taking advantage of the citizens of your own town and being thugs and thieves.  Give me a break.  Shame on the authorities for not using more force to stop your stupidity.  Real grief and protest is not done under cover of darkness nor is it taken out on community members by ruining their property.

Idiots are found in many many places.

Splish Splash

It was 90 some degrees today.  Felt more like a blast furnace.  Early evening brought out one of those typical Indiana thunderstorms.  Very dark skies,  wind,  very heavy rain and hail the size of lima beans.  Lots of noise accompanying all of the other elements,  which scares our dog to death.

As the storm passed and the sun started to re-appear,  I remembered as children we would rush outside (because having to be inside was a fate worse than a bad case of poison ivy).  Once outside we would look for "mud-puddles".  Then we would either ride our bicycles through them or simply wade into them.  There was something magical about the feel of what was cold water falling from the sky just moments ago.  Now, warmed by the ground,  it felt unusually, uncharacteristically soothing as we splashed around in it.

I just had to try walking in those puddles again, today.  It was still very soothing.  I couldn't help splashing around while the puddle slowly disappeared.  Sometimes it can make your day when you allow yourself some of those long forgotten pleasures.

Take time to splash around.

Bad deal

So, we, the USA, traded a group of five Taliban prisoners for one American soldier.  This soldier is suspected of actually being a deserter.  On top of that,  we had two soldiers killed while looking for him.  It seems plausible that he did desert, since he walked away from camp with only a flashlight and a bottle of water.

Washington has their undies in a wad because of several reasons.  Congress had their feelings  hurt because they weren't asked.  Five for one seems like a crappy deal.  Consider that the Taliban prisoners were high ranking officials in that group of poop-heads, and our soldier is probably not very well liked in the military let alone a significant cog in the war machinery.

The hometown and the family of the soldier are very happy that he is coming home and I understand that.  Time will probably tell what the circumstances of his disappearance were and weather or not the hometown fans remain loyal.

The disturbing thing to me is that we have played lets make a deal with an arch-enemy.  On top of that, we proved to be really poor deal makers.

just kidding

When Mother Nature flushes, we know where it goes.  New Jersey and North Florida !!!!!

Just Kidding:)

obama v putin

Ukrane is in real turmoil.  Obama is still threatening Putin.  Putin seems to be calling his bluff.  Russia has appointed themselves peacemakes for the Ukrane.  We think we should be the one.  Other than Persons of the Ukrane or decendants,  who gives a hoot?

When its over there will be plenty of opportunity to throw our money away over there. (sarcasm)

volunteers

WHOA!   A 17 year old in Wisconsin was planning a day of Mayhem.  If I get this correct,  he was gonna shoot his sister, mom and dad.  Then he was gonna start a fire close by to occupy authorities so he could go to his school and set off some bombs.  Then he was gonna shoot the resource (police) officer at school and go outside to shoot students as they left the building.  Finally,  he was going to force responding authorities to shoot him.

Wow, what a plan.  What sickens young people so much that makes them scheme up such crap? It must be some pent up anger that makes such a youngster scheme up such behavior?.  This type of behavior seems to be becoming more common.  Is this a need for 15 minutes of fame?  Or, has the younger generation become so numb to this behavior?  Horror films,  zombies,  vampires, video games full of violence, etc..  Could anyone be so stupid as to believe that killing people for real is like the games they play?  Fun today and can do it again tomorrow.

If its simply a deep desire to part from this life,  lets give them an avenue that harms no one else.  How about a firing squad.  Lots of volunteers I am sure.

Seem harsh?  Rather have dozens of innocents dead?  Me either.

talk to me

Contact me at dinocoverstone@gmail.com.  Just kidding about your possibly being a dumb-ass!  Love to hear from you.

Stuff I think stuff about

I saw that a baseball pitcher received a suspension for "doping" baseballs.  Seems this guy smeared pine tar on his neck for this purpose.  Apparently the opposing coach could see it clearly from his dugout and brought it to the attention of the umpire who proceeded to eject the guy.  Subsequently a 10 game suspension was handed down.  Now, this guy pitches.  He doesn't play in every game, so he could conceivably not miss a game.  Base ball is full of cheaters and smart guys.

Everyone continues to spend millions of dollars to find a very large aircraft that has been missing for well over a month.  Nice effort.  Be nice to have some real idea where the darn thing is!!!

I bet other countries watch blurbs about the US just like I watch WORLDS DUMBEST.

Joan Rivers is being bashed for some remark she made.  She related her "space" at her daughters as being more confining than the three women from Ohio that were held captive.  She didn't mean to demean them.  She wasn't making a statement about their experience.  She simply was making a statement meant to be comical about her situation.  Everybody needs to get over it.

Caroline Kennedy, in an interview was asked if she thought Hillary Clinton would be a good President.  She answered yes she would like to see that.  Next question was would she like to see Mrs. Clinton be President since she was a supporter of Obama last election.  She said,  I just said I would.  Dumbass was what she was thinking.  Typical of Medias effort to create controversy where there really isn't any.

Hell, I would like to see Hillary Clinton be President. Could not be worse than the last couple.  Might have enough balls to start moving toward a balanced budget.  Last one to do it was her husband.

It might be fun if Sarah Palin ran again.

How about the Rancher out west that has been letting his cows pasture on Federal Land and defying the Governments efforts to make him stop.  He was being treated as a leader for all sorts of anti-government groups.  That is until he made the statement that Negroes would still be better off as slaves picking cotton.  Wow!  Followers left in droves.  Some were very agitated about the use of the NNNNNNNN word.  Really?  That's the thing to be upset about?

How about the hopeful here in our area that has embarked on a really low campaign tactic of blatant attacks on his opponent and her family.  Pretty disgusting.  Even if I voted, I wouldn't cast a vote his way if I was paid.  Butt.

Ever watch the show on TV.. Rediculousness?  Defines the show well.

I-pod, I-pad, I-phone, I-tablet............I-care!

Latest Driving while Blind.  Cars now do more than park themselves.  They warn you of unexpected lane change.  Warn you of someone in your "Blind-spot".  Warn you, and, stop the car if you are driving in dense fog and are about to run into something.  Warn you that something is behind you so you don't run over the neighbors cat, or the neighbor.  Probably need to warn you that you are to stupid to be driving.

Reference the first item......New York Yankees have a nice long streak of stupid cheaters.

Forest knows best.

A lot of posturing in and around Ukrane these days.  The US is certain that the Ruskies under Putin's control are attempting the start of WWIII.  Guess what,  it takes two to make a fight.  I can think of no reason we need to be the second dog in the fight.

Clearly,  we think that Putin is wrong in his thinking.  Clearly,  Russia believes we are wrong in our thinking.  Who is right?  I have an idea,  lets let Russia and the Ukrane work out their differences.  I see no reason for us to continue to try and impress our beliefs on yet another foreign country.

Lets look at recent history.  We (the US)  have certainly made messes in a number of countries of late.  We have not changed Iran, Iraq, Afganistan, Korea, Viet Nam, etc..  I saw a blurb on the news that talks between Israel and Pakastan have stalled.  WOW!  That's news you don't hear more than a dozen or so times a year.  We were upset that our efforts were fruitless.  No kidding.  We perpetually are working on peace in that area.  They continue to fight and we continue to try and stop it.

A wise man once told me...continuing the same behavior over and over and expecting different results is the definition of stupid.  Then again I guess that could apply to our whole political system.
Forest Gump said it well...STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES.

Bobbitt style.

Sooooooooo...the Roman Catholic Church is still having trouble deciding sexual mis-conduct is a bad thing.  Seems they may not be able to find the right scripture that confirms suspicions of said abuse being a bad thing.

How in this day and age can anyone have trouble condemning an adult preying on young children? The Church is no longer denying that members of the clergy prey on children,  they just haven't figured a way to continue excuse of it.

Good news is that they are holding a "summit" to continue discussions.

Lets loosen up the ability for these guys to marry a female. Maybe then their urges could be satisfied without having to prey on young boys.  For those who wish to continue their abstinence,  lets help em out with a little snip Bobbitt Style!

IDIOTS

NBC Nightly News just had a segment on Gun control again.  Seems the NRA is holding their annual get together in Indianapolis this week.  Again puffing and posturing about everyones right to have firearms.  Outside the convention hall are a group of people apparently headed by a leadership of women (mothers) whome have lost someone to gun violence.  Obviously they have conflicting beliefs with the NRA.  They blame the NRA for perpetuating gun violence.  The 5 million or so members of the NRA do not advocate gun violence.  The NRA believe in the right to own guns.....legally.  They advocate that guns be allowed for recreational purposes,  not for the slaughter of innocent children.

One of our local cities,  South Bend,  experiences gun violence with frightening frequency.  I feel safe in my assumption that the perpetrators are probably not card carrying members of the NRA.  Most likely they belong in the  "dumb ass" category of humans.  People of little social value or ambition beyond wanting something for nothing, or a little short of ethics.

While I support the women in their efforts to make society a more safe environment,  I cannot agree with their views that gun control is the answer let alone accomplishable.  It is already illegal to kill someone and yet that doesn't stop these idiots.  Making firearms illegal probably will not stop these idiots.  Idiots will continue to be .........IDIOTS.

bite Al

The fifth snowy-est winter of record.  Tomorrow begins our Spring season.  Next weeks forecast is for temperatures around 20 degrees below normal.  Even the possibility of more snow!

Is anyone else tired, more so than normal?  If Al Gore were here I'd punch him in the nose.  It's his fault,  he pissed off mother nature with all his Global Warming crap.

Well all you Polar Bears,  take heart,  the Ice Age is upon us.  You will have no shortage of area to roam!!!  When you see Al,  bite him in the tucus.

Driving with blinders.

Mary Barra,  that's the head cheese at General Motors.  Seems she inherited a really nasty problem.  Apparently GM made millions of cars that the key switch randomly turned itself off.  When you turn off the key at 60 miles per hour, you can no longer steer or brake.  That becomes interesting in a hurry.  If you are quick minded you can turn the key back on.  Problem is several people were not quick and died.

Reports are that GM knew about the problem a long time ago.  Maybe 10 years.  The sticky part is they didn't tell anyone or create a recall.  Somewhere in the process they did fix the problem but didn't make it retro-active by way of a recall.

Mary, now on the hot seat ,  says they (GM) need to fix their process.  I find it interesting that She thinks the problem is that the system did not fix the engineering problem.  I think the broken part of the system is that a decision was made to not spend the money needed to fix the millions of cars already infected with a defective switch.  Fresh off of a Government bailout,  GM most assuredly decided it better to keep quiet and not suffer the losses associated with such a massive recall.

I am appalled that GM has not taken  responsibility for the deaths that occurred due to their faulty engineering.  It is one thing to make a mistake, it is entirely different to sweep such problems under the rug.  It seems that even large companies are guilty of driving while blind.

Lost not found

Somebody lost an airplane.  Not one of those little propeller driven things,  but a really big one with jet engines the size of small houses.  Seems that no one was watching and it just disappeared.  One minute its flying along and the next ......poof.....gone.

So it fell out of the sky.  Maybe it blew up.  Maybe aliens abducted it.  Or, some dark forces have stolen it and landed it somewhere secretive.  Probably a triangle similar to what Bermuda has.  It has been almost two weeks and no sign of it anywhere.  We have been searching everywhere.  No one really knows where we should search,  we just look here and there with the hope of getting lucky.

It does seem to me that in this day and age of electronic surveillance by every person on earth and all the Government agencies with spy capabilities,  someone should have a better idea of where this flying monstrosity is.  One thing we know for sure is that it is no longer flying.  Nothing that runs on gas has the capacity to stay in the air for two weeks.

It is sad that so many families may have lost loved ones. Never know when and where you may not be as safe as you should be.  It will be interesting to see what the fate of this flight was.

STOLEN

RUSSIA STOLE CRIMEA!!!  Who gives a crap?

Ukraine  is in turmoil, so naturally we (the United States)  has to get involved.  After all,  we are the only ones that know what is good for the Ukranians.  Poor un-enlightened bastards don't understand that we know best.  They seem to have this funny notion that they get to decide their own path.  Heck,  if they don't change their tune we may just have to send some military over there.  If things aren't messed up enough, just let us have a crack at it.  We are the masters of screw-ups.  Just look at our results in Iran, Iraq, Afganistan, Viet Nam, etc......

We are plenty pissed at the Russians for stealing Crimea.  Funny thing is Crimea has been a part of the Soviet Union for EVER.  They want to continue their association with Russia.  They even held an "election" to agree to becoming part of the Soviet Union again after  a short stint as part of Ukraine.

It seems to me we are caught in the age old problem of not wanting something until someone else wants it.  We have an unsurmountable debt, yet we seem to think we should have yet another problem child to spend money on.  Is anyone else tired of taking on the problems of every other country while we choke on our own problems.

Sometimes we should just let someone else steal a problem.

sun rise or set?

State of the Union speech last night.  WOO HOO!  I tried to watch but simply could not get past the endless speculation provided by the news agencies.  Each time I tuned in it appeared more like a campaign speech than a  " state of" speech.  Again,  we were treated to an assault on our intelligence.  Same old same old crap.  Its somebody else's fault.  We are going to create jobs,  get out of our longest war,  deal with illegal aliens,  blah blah blah.

I need not watch the State of the Union speech.  I am aware of the issues facing this country.  I am awaiting actual, workable plans to start the process of solving these issues.  I don't have a problem stating my position on issues.  Illegal means illegal.  Granting immunity to 11 million people simply creates a different class.  We have procedures for becoming citizens.  Free enterprise has worked for us for hundreds of years.  We create lots of jobs.  Sadly those jobs are in foreign countries.  We need to be more cautious not to create trade imbalance with those countries.  Again,  our inability to have clear, measurable goals in our little "wars" has cost us billions of dollars and the waste of countless lives.  I do not believe we have changed a thing in Afganistan.

This Union is in a constant state of grid-lock.  Our two party system is unable to work out problems that face this country.  Instead,  we are like two children that are unwilling to concede, just because.
The current administration has been unable to solve the fundamental problems that have plagued us for the entire term.

I no longer believe any elected official.  If a Republican said the sun was up, a Democrat would either claim it was not, or blame the Republican party!  No-one is to blame or deserves credit for the rise and set of the sun.

Want some cheese with that whine?

Unbelievable.  People in Atlanta blame local government officials for their inability to drive on icy roads.  Had those idiots in Atlanta been patient and not decided they must get out and drive immediately,  there may have been a way to treat roads for the icy conditions.  However,  with thousands of vehicles stuck on the road, it was an impossible task to clear roads of snow and treat the slick conditions.  Weather warnings were posted almost 48 hours in advance of the inclement weather.

Now, I have had the misfortune of being in Atlanta during some poor weather.  The Idiots there continue to drive well above the speed limit when they should reduce their speed and/ or just get off the road.  After all,  those SUV's are supposed to go anywhere, right.  A lot of them went in the ditch, so I guess that was new areas of adventure.  People of the south,  snow makes roads slick.  Your local officials can't stop that.  Just admit you can't drive on slick roads.  Stop looking for someone else to blame.......dumb asses.

More stuff

A baseball player was given a large suspension.  Taking a banned substance and lying about it were his undoing.  He competes in a world where unrealistic money is to be had.  The temptation to cheat is huge.  The competition cheats as well.  These overgrown kids are treated like Gods for most of their life.  They don't know any better.  I could care less.

I watched the Little League World  Series again.  What fun.  Sports at its best.

Oh yea, New Years

This past New Years eve,  I did what I am supposed to do,  I made New Year Resolutions.  It wasn't a difficult chore,  I have made the same ones for years.

#1  I vowed to eat healthier.  I haven't started yet because I haven't run out of excuses not to.

#2  I am sincere about losing some weight.  I have made this vow for 15 years.  I am proud to say I am achieveing this resolution.  I want to lose 40 pounds and at my present rate of weight loss will have met that goal in 2045.

#3  I promised to spend more time with my family.  This is also working.  I see my family more often,  mostly because I am too fat to accomplish normal tasks without help.

#4  I resolved to exercise more to aid in my quest to be healthier overall.  Just bending over to tie my shoes is strenuous enough to make me break out in a sweat. I have to stretch before I can roll my ass out of bed in the morning.  Getting up 3 times in the middle of the night to pee is more than enough exercise.  So, I figure I am well on my way to exceeding this resolution.

#5  New this year is that I resolve to not continue to make these stupid resolutions ever again.  It is such a blow to my ego.

Ok, enough about this crap.  I need a cookie.

I Spy You

Did you ever type (do we still type?) your name into the inner-web?  Interesting stuff in there.  Maybe even a little scary.  I am not one of those worriers that believe Big Brother is watching for some sinister reason.  I am, however, curious as to just who it is that takes the time to put stuff about everyday citizens into the web and organizes it.

With all the talk these days about the Governments spying and data collection,  I wonder if the people with that phobia about being watched have some legitimate concerns.  If you can believe the news today,  and that is a stretch sometimes, 200 million phone calls are monitored daily.  Reportedly if you use certain words or terms,  you might get visited by Homeland Security,  the FBI or some other rogue Federal Agency.  Now, I am not worried in the least that I may be shuttled off in the middle of the night to some secret dungeon and waterboarded.

But,  I do wonder to what end these web sites have been created.  One site would allow me to create an account and by doing so I can access "private"  information concerning any individual I wish to poke into my new little laptop.  I can in essence become a SPY.  I can obtain phone numbers, e-mail addresses, legal doings, etc..  What the hell?  I can do this under the guise of background checks in case I want to hire your worthless butt!  Just kidding,  I would never hire you.

From now on this blog is strictly spy stuff!

D--Fence

Just finished watching the Denver Broncos beat the New England Patriots.  Wasn't a very close game.  The Patriots left their defense in the locker room.  I believe most quarterbacks in the National Football League could have found open receivers in the Patriots backfield.  But.........we are gonna be subjected to more Payton is God bulls---.  All the hype leading up to this game has been Manning verses Brady.  Guess what .....Manning didn't win any more than Brady lost this game.  New England Defense couldn't stop my Mom in a wheelchair let along other professional football players.  If Payton Manning had not had a good game I should of thought he had gone blind.

I am not a Manning hater,  I simply tire of our obsession to worship individuals from a team sport.  I do not appreciate the constant bombardment.  Good job Denver Broncos.  May the NFC champions kick your ass!!!!!

sports stuff

Speaking of sports.....here is some thoughts.

Peyton Manning,  Tom Brady, or any other individual player has never won a team sport all by themselves.  Hence the word TEAM.

A-Rod is an A-Hole.

No one is the GREATEST OF ALL TIME.  Time isn't over yet.  The Games and Rules change as does the training and equipment.  It's gotta be enough to be very good at what you do.  Statistics are subject to interpretation.  By that I mean,  what criteria is in fact the most important?

Why don't you have to actually be IN the end-zone to score a touchdown?

Why do you actually have to be out-of-bounds to be out-of-bounds?

Why can't someone figure out how to make baseball on TV less boring?

MMA is as close to gladiatorial contests as we can get.......today!

Hows come when you have a 3 point lead with just seconds to go you don't foul the opponents so they cannot make a 3-point basket to tie the game?

Instant replay ruins the game.  Officiating is part of the game.

Why do coaches and fans believe that the other team is the only ones to foul?  Ever see coaches or fans complain that the other team is being screwed!

Hockey is a stupid game.

Its your fault.......dumba--!

A co-worker and I were discussing sports today.  We do this pretty much every day.  Primary topic for today was sports and injuries.  It seems that athletes today hold everyone except themselves responsible for their game related injuries.  I watch and enjoy a number of sports.  I have yet to find the slave leagues.  By that I mean that I understand participation in sports at all levels to still be voluntary.  Young athletes dream of making it to the next level where they will be treated  more god-like.  From early age,  people that show some signs of prowess in sports are treated differently than the mere mortals around them.  They enter a life of privilege and treatment of being special.  The pot of gold at the base of the rainbow can be substantial.  In some rare cases millions of dollars.

That being said.  Why then is it someone Else's responsibility for injuries sustained in an attempt to cash in.  I just imagine that playing a sport that has a certain level of physical violence associated with it is somehow no longer free choice.  Lets see,  I think I will be a boxer.  I am sure that my opponent won't hit me over and over in the head.  Or maybe I'll be a football player.  After all I get to wear a helmet.  No one will smack me in the head there.  Naw,  I'll play soccer.  After all the ball is soft so when I use my head to kick it, it can't    possibly do  damage.

If you choose to play a sport with injuries and violence associated with it, then take responsibility for your own well being.  It is not someone Else's fault.  Are you so dumb as to not understand the risk involved in  the reward?  You are to blame!

Back at it

Its been a long time since my last words of wisdom.  I fought and fought with my older laptop until I finally called uncle.  I had threatened it many many times but never really had any real intent to pitch it into the street.  Between being very busy at work and losing the battle with my little electronic buddy,  I had not managed to keep up with this affair.  Well all that is changing.  I have a brand new computer.  This thing has enough power to run the International Space Station.  It is so fast it almost completes my thoughts.  (That may not be as difficult as it once was!)  It actually runs on a battery so I can use it even in the crapper.

So buckle up,  I have ground to make up and politicians are a never ending source of stupidity for me to work with.
